Family Visit

In December our Family came to visit for 3 weeks. We were super excited, as were they. It was their first time out of the country.  Along with many firsts. Adison had her first part as a house holder and mom pierced her ears. For now here are the pictures I have on hand.

Alyvia and Adison

Steve at the Dentist, who happens to be my Dad's call

Here Adin gave a Bible Reading at the hall.

And here Vickie and Adin are shopping for Molas which are  amazing
art work done by the  Kuna Indians where they layer different colored
fabrics and make designs. Its hard to explain. Below is an example of what a Mola looks like.
Mola's come in all different sizes and are used for many different things.
The Kuna women wear them as part of their shirts.
One night the four of us kids decided to sleep on the porch. It was so cold.
(lower 50's- we have now become wimps), and super windy. You can see
Lula (our dog) trying to snuggle next to Adin to keep warm.

Here Mom is piercing Adison's ears with a piercing gun
she got a while back. I think Mom was more nervous than Adison.
But they ended up perfect.
Ginger and Dustin also came with them for their 3rd visit. They came for 3 months and are now helping in a small group in Almirante, about 3 and a half hours away.
